How USPS Plans to Consolidate Network May Affect Your Banking

Beginning this month, the United States Postal Service will consolidate operations in an effort to save more than one billion dollars annually. In light of these changes, we wanted to remind you of the ways this change may affect your banking.

Though we do not anticipate any significant changes to occur, you may notice:

  • A slight delay in receiving paper checks in the mail. If you run out of checks and need them urgently, please use Deluxe’s Express Service.
  • A slight delay in receiving statements and other notifications from the Bank. While we are not expecting any substantial changes, these may arrive at your home slightly later than they have in the past.
  • A slight delay in your NetPay check payees receiving their payments. Electronic payments will not be affected, but those payees that receive paper checks may notice a slight delay. If you have concerns about the arrival time of your check payment, you may use NetPay Expedited Payments.
