The Meredith Village Savings Bank “150th Anniversary Celebration” Sweepstakes Official Rules

SPONSOR: The Meredith Village Savings Bank (“MVSB”) “150th Anniversary Celebration” sweepstakes is sponsored by Meredith Village Savings Bank (Sponsor), PO Box 177, Meredith, NH 03253‐0177.
SWEEPSTAKES PERIODS: The Meredith Village Savings Bank “150th Anniversary Celebration” sweepstakes begins at approximately 8:00 am Eastern Time (“ET”) on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 and ends at approximately 2pm ET on Saturday, February 2, 2019. Entries received after 2pm ET on Saturday, February 2, 2019 will be deemed ineligible to win. The sweepstakes will consist of five (5) entry periods:
- Period 1: Entries received between Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at approximately 8am ET and Saturday, January 12, 2019 at approximately 2pm ET will be entered to win one (1) of twenty six (26) grand prizes. Two (2) winners will be selected from each MVSB branch office.
- Period 2: Entries received between Sunday, January 13, 2019 at approximately 8:30am ET and Saturday, January 19, 2019 at approximately 2pm ET will be entered to win one (1) of twenty six (26) grand prizes. Two (2) winners will be selected from each MVSB branch office.
- Period 3: Entries received between Sunday, January 20, 2019 at approximately 8:30am ET and Saturday, January 26, 2019 at approximately 2pm ET will be entered to win one (1) of twenty six (26) grand prizes. Two (2) winners will be selected from each MVSB branch office.
- Period 4: Entries received between Sunday, January 27, 2019 at approximately 8:30am ET and Saturday, February 2, 2019 at approximately 2pm ET will be entered to win one (1) of twenty six (26) grand prizes. Two (2) winners will be selected from each MVSB branch office.
- Period 5: All entries received in periods 1 through 4, between Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at approximately 8am ET and Saturday, February 2, 2019 at approximately 2pm ET will be entered to win one (1) of thirteen (13) grand prizes. One (1) winner will be selected from each MVSB branch office.
PRIZES: One (1) of one hundred and four (104) 150th Anniversary Commemorative Yeti® 20 Oz Tumblers valued at $29.99 each or one (1) of thirteen (13) grand prizes. Grand prize winners will be given their choice of:
- 2 lift tickets to Gunstock Mountain Resort, valued at $184;
- 4 Mountain Coaster tickets for Gunstock Mountain Resort, 4 Tubing tickets for Gunstock Mountain Resort and 4 tickets for the Ice Castles in Lincoln, NH valued at $251.80;
- Or, a $200 gift certificate to the GenGold® local business partner of the winner’s choice.
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: By participating in the Meredith Village Savings Bank “150th Anniversary Celebration” sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and unconditionally accepts the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. The sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void outside the United States and wherever prohibited by law. Prizes may be subject to tax; all applicable taxes are the responsibility of the winner.
ELIGIBILITY: The Meredith Village Savings Bank “150th Anniversary Celebration” sweepstakes is open to individuals who (a) are legal residents of New Hampshire and (b) are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry. Employees of New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp and its subsidiaries are eligible to participate in this contest. Sponsor has the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant before any prize is issued.
ENTRY: Enter the “150th Anniversary Celebration” sweepstakes by completing an official entry form in person at any of MVSB’s thirteen (13) branch offices during business hours, within the Sweepstakes Period. Limited to one (1) entry per person, per branch office, per day.
Mechanically reproduced or potentially fraudulent entries, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be discarded. Entrants are required to provide their full name, email address and phone number for winner selection and notification. Contact information provided will not be sold or given to any other business entity or person.
DISQUALIFICATION: Entrant may be prohibited from participating in this Sweepstakes if Sponsor, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, reasonably believes that the entrant has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of this Sweepstakes by cheating, deception or other unfair practices, or annoys, abuses, threatens or harasses any other contest entrants or associated individuals or agencies. Any false information provided within the context of the Sweepstakes by any entrant or noncompliance with these Rules or the like may result in the immediate disqualification of the entrant from the Sweepstakes.
DRAWING AND DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZES: Eligible participants who enter the “150th Anniversary Celebration” Sweepstakes and provide their contact information will have the chance to win one (1) of one hundred and four (104) 150th Anniversary Commemorative Yeti® 20 oz. Tumblers one (1) of thirteen (13) grand prizes.
Twenty six (26) 150th Anniversary Commemorative Yeti® 20 oz. tumbler winners (two winners per branch office) will be selected on each of the following dates:
- Saturday, January 12, 2019
- Saturday, January 19, 2019
- Saturday, January 26, 2019
- Saturday, February 2, 2019
Thirteen (13) grand prize winners (one per branch office) will be selected on February 2, 2019.
The decision of the Sponsor as to the winners is final and binding in all respects. Winners may be required to provide an accurate and complete W9 form as well as verification of identification, age and residency before the prize is awarded. No alternative prize or other substitution or transfer of prize is permitted. Winner is responsible for the payment of any federal, state and local taxes on the prize, and for any other costs and expenses not specifically described above that are associated with the acceptance and use of a prize.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: MVSB will contact the one hundred and seventeen (117) Meredith Village Savings Bank “150th Anniversary Celebration” sweepstakes winners on or before February 9, 2019. The Bank will attempt to contact all winners at the contact information provided when placing their entries. If the Bank is unable to reach the winner after three (3) attempts or if the winner has not contacted the Bank within 30 days of announcement, another winner will be selected in accordance with official sweepstakes rules. MVSB will confirm the identity, age, and residency of winner before prize is awarded.
ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received.
ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS: All prizes are non‐transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted. MVSB may require a Release Form to be completed by winners. By participating in the sweepstakes, entrants agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless MVSB, administrator, advertising and promotion agencies and all their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions and liability of any kind caused in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the sweepstakes or acceptance, possession or use of any prize awarded. MVSB is not liable for any lost or stolen entries, prizes or sweepstakes information. MVSB is not responsible for the printing of or typographical errors in any sweepstakes‐related materials. Sponsor, advertising and promotional agencies and all their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents disclaim any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from access to or the download of information or materials connected with this sweepstakes. Sponsor does not make any warranties, express or implied, as to the condition, fitness or merchantability of the prize.
The Meredith Village Savings Bank “150th Anniversary Celebration” Sweepstakes Official Rules shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New Hampshire without regard to its principles of conflicts of law. Jurisdiction and venue shall be solely within the State of New Hampshire for the resolution of any disputes relating to the administration of the sweepstakes. Sweepstakes where prohibited by law.
WINNERS LIST: To obtain a list of the winners, mail a stamped, self‐addressed envelope (to arrive on or before April 9. 2019) to: Meredith Village Savings Bank “150th Anniversary Sweepstakes Celebration” Sweepstakes Winners, Meredith Village Savings Bank, Attn: Marketing, PO Box 177, Meredith, NH 03253‐0177.
CHANGES: MVSB reserves the right to change sweepstakes rules and/or dates at any time without additional notice. In the event of any dispute pertaining to this sweepstakes, the decision of Meredith Village Savings Bank Management is final.
