Sponsorships and Contributions
If you are interested in having MVSB support your non-profit organization, please contact your local office. For a listing, click here.
Sharing Your Message
We are always happy to help local nonprofits share information about their organizations and special events whenever possible. Please reach out to mvsbmarketing@mvsb.com for assistance with the following:
- Inclusion on our digital signs in all of our branch offices. Nonprofits can select the locations where they would like their message to run. Messages should be landscape/horizontal 1920 x 1080 pixels or a 16:9 PowerPoint template. We can accept most image and video file types, but our signs do not play sound.
- Distribution of dollar-bill-sized cash envelope stuffers with the money & receipts for each customer in the lobby or drive-up. This is available at the location(s) of the nonprofits’ choice. In general, 150-200 cash envelopes stuffers will last one month per branch. We can distribute these if they are mailed or dropped off to any branch office. Please schedule this with us as early as reasonably possible as this is a popular first-come, first-served option.
- Display on the community board at each branch office. We can distribute these if they are mailed or dropped off to any branch office.
- Presence on our digital signs outside our branches in Meredith’s main office, Rochester and Laconia. Please schedule this with us as early as reasonably possible as this is a popular first-come, first-served option. We recommend keeping the words to a minimum with one clear image so they can be easily viewed and read by those driving by.
- Meredith Outdoor Sign: This sign is text only and limited characters, so we will do our best to include key event/program specifics.
- Rochester Outdoor Sign: 336 x 144 pixels . Most image file types can be uploaded but .png is preferred.
- Laconia Outdoor Sign: 168 x 72 pixels. Most image file types can be uploaded but .png is preferred.
- Sharing of your posts on social media. We are on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. Please schedule this with us as early as reasonably possible as this is a popular first-come, first-served option.
Please Note: that we cannot promote lotteries, sectarian, religious or political messages. Other restrictions may apply.

Interest on Lawyer’s Trust Accounts (IOLTA)
The IOLTA program was created in 1982 when a NH Supreme Court ruling began requiring attorneys to maintain a pooled interest-bearing trust account for clients’ funds which were nominal in amount or to be held for a short period of time. Under Supreme Court Rule 50, the interest generated in those accounts was required to be transferred to the New Hampshire Bar Foundation for charitable purposes. Since its inception, the IOLTA program has raised more than $28 million to help provide legal services to New Hampshire citizens who are struggling to overcome poverty.
To be designated as a Leadership Bank by the NH Bar Foundation, MVSB must pay 2% or higher interest on IOLTAs, exceed the bank’s standard NOW account rate, and waive routine service charges.
MVSB Fund Grant Awards
The MVSB Fund makes grants every year to local nonprofits that make a significant impact upon the lives of people in the communities we serve. The grants are in addition to MVSB’s contributions throughout the year in the form of donations, sponsorships, scholarships and volunteer efforts by employees.
Since 1997, the MVSB Fund has awarded annual grant-based contributions to nonprofit organizations that enrich and improve the quality of lives of residents in the Bank’s service areas. In that time, the program has awarded 621 grants totaling over $2.2 million dollars to a wide range of environmental, social, educational and historic projects throughout the Greater Lakes Region, Plymouth, Mount Washington Valley and Seacoast regions.
Visit the MVSB Fund Application to learn more and apply. The deadline is October 15 each year.
