When Ashland's Civil War Monument was erected at Main and Depot Streets, the location was widely considered to be the geographic center of New Hampshire. Later measurements placed the state's geographic center about three miles away, in present-day New Hampton.

Back in the early 1980’s, when the bank was located in the old brick building just down the road from the current location, I was approved for a vehicle loan when no one else would give me one. I was on my way to build credit! The next loan was for a house and property! MVSB has been my bank since then.
Thank you to all members of the Ashland branch of MVSB who are always polite and helpful.

I remember walking to MVSB with my grandparents every other week and stopping to visit the local ice cream parlor.
