MVSB (Meredith Village Savings Bank) is proud to support Santa Fund of the Greater Lakes Region by donating $15,000 to support their mission of providing community assistance to children in need in the Lakes Region.
“Generous gifts like this one from MVSB help the Santa Fund provide assistance and programs to local children,” said Kathy Crane, Santa Fund Board of Directors Treasurer. “There is a lot of need in the Lakes Region, not only in the winter but throughout the year. We are proud to be an all-volunteer organization and the community support we have received goes a long way to help those in need.”
“I am proud to work for a community bank that truly cares for its community and supports this cause that is near and dear to my heart,” said Elizabeth Brothers, MVSB Mortgage Sales Support Manager and Co-Chair of the Santa Fund Board of Directors.
The Santa Fund provides assistance to children year round, including summer camps, enrichment activities, sports programs, personal care needs and more. They also provide children and youth of the Greater Laconia Area with new winter outerwear each year during the winter months. They work with the Salvation Army, Saint Vincent De Paul, Head Start and several other social services agencies to provide support to children and their families.
