MVSB Advances Sustainability Goals with Solar Energy Installations in Portsmouth, Rochester
MVSB recently completed solar energy installations at its Portsmouth and Rochester branch offices as part of its continued commitment to sustainability. Work will soon begin on additional installations in Laconia and the Seneca Ladd Building in Meredith. The project is expected to reduce electricity costs over time while lowering the organization’s environmental impact. Community Development Tax Credits Help Kidworks Improve Accessibility and Capacity
MVSB is proud to support Kidworks Learning Center through the purchase of $25,000 in New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) tax credits. The funding will help the nonprofit childcare center complete critical facility improvements that will expand access to quality, affordable childcare for families throughout the Lakes Region. Kidworks Learning Center will use the tax credit funding to install a new exterior foundation drainage system and ADA-accessible ramp to address critical health and safety concerns impacting its ability to serve children and families. A Century of Community: MVSB Celebrates 100 Years in Ashland
