Nancy Connors is regarded as a beacon of happiness at MVSB, often sharing her knowledge, customer service skills, and genuine positivity for the benefit of everyone around her. She has been a valuable part of the Bank since 2015, currently serving as a Universal Banker based in Wolfeboro. Nancy enjoys “floating” to other MVSB branch locations – using her expertise to support staff and customers when and where it is needed.
“Nancy truly embodies the caring spirit of MVSB in every interaction and is always willing to go the extra mile to help out her coworkers, customers and the community. She is really a cornerstone of our team,” said Jami Bourdeau, MVSB Branch & Business Development Manager. “And outside of regular work duties, it is so inspiring to see that same dedication applied to events and local organizations that gain from her involvement.”
When help is needed for any local event or cause, Nancy is always first to raise her hand and lend her time and talent. She has served as an active participant in the Wolfeboro Festival of Trees, Wolfeboro Christmas Parade, Pubmania, Children’s Center Color Fun Run/Walk, Paintings for a Purpose, Salvation Army bell ringing and Relay for Life – just to name a few.
Her love for her community is also reflected in her involvement with the St. Katherine Drexel Parish as a member of their finance committee. She and her husband, the President of L.I.F.E. Ministries food pantry of Wolfeboro, work hand in hand with MVSB on several local initiatives in the Wolfeboro community, including distributing items from the Bank’s Mitten Tree program and donation of the Bank’s tree from the Festival of Trees to a deserving family each year.
Nancy’s passion for the arts is evident in her support for the Wolfeboro Friends of Music. She believes in the joy that the arts bring to the world and is an avid attendee of both professional and amateur shows. She appreciates the talent that the organization brings to Wolfeboro and their commitment to music education for local students.
“Working at MVSB and serving the Wolfeboro community is a joy and a privilege,” said Nancy. “It’s more than a job, it’s my way of giving back to a community that I deeply love.”
At MVSB, Nancy also serves on the Employee Activity Committee, Employee Recognition Committee, Empowerment Committee and the Trust Committee – bringing valuable insight and enthusiasm to each group to ensure all employees feel welcome and appreciated.
Despite her busy schedule, Nancy finds time to pursue many personal interests as well. She is an avid collector of Christmas ornaments and will always seek out new collectables on each vacation she takes. She also received a Bachelor’s Degree from Southern New Hampshire University in 2023, and is currently pursuing a Graduate Degree in Business Communications.
