New Hampshire Historical Society (NHHS) in Concord is utilizing awarded tax credits from the New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) to complete renovations to its Collection Management Center, including the installation of a new climate control system. MVSB is proud to purchase $10,000 in tax credits to support the project.
The upgraded system will enhance preservation conditions for the Society’s nationally significant collections and complement recent improvements to its facilities. Through these efforts, NHHS continues to safeguard the state’s historical materials while expanding access to educational and cultural programming that serves more than 14,000 people each year.

“The New Hampshire Historical Society is dedicated to preserving and sharing the stories that define our state’s identity,” said Bill Dunlap, NHHS President. “This project ensures that our collections remain protected for generations to come, and we are deeply appreciative of MVSB’s support in helping us fulfill that mission.”
“Preserving New Hampshire’s history is essential to understanding and celebrating the communities we serve today,” said Marcus Weeks, MVSB President. “We’re honored to support the Historical Society’s efforts to protect these invaluable resources and keep the state’s heritage alive for future generations.”
Founded in 1823, the NHHS collects, preserves, and interprets materials that tell the story of New Hampshire’s past and its connection to the present. Learn more at nhhistory.org.
