As a Commercial Loan Officer at MVSB, Tate Miller is passionate about helping Lakes Region businesses grow, innovate, and thrive. His commitment to local success also shines through his community involvement, where he dedicates his time and leadership to organizations that support families and inspire future leaders across the Lakes Region.
Tate was recently appointed Chair of the Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce, where he champions the business community through connection, collaboration, and advocacy. The Chamber brings together businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders to strengthen the regional economy and create opportunities across the Lakes Region.
“Being part of the Chamber gives me the opportunity to support the businesses and people who define the spirit of this region,” said Tate. “There’s an incredible sense of pride and collaboration here, and it’s truly rewarding to contribute to that shared success.”
Tate also serves on the Board of Directors for Lakes Region Community Developers, an organization focused on helping people live and work locally by supporting affordable housing, childcare, and economic opportunity. The organization focuses on removing barriers and creating long-term solutions that benefit individuals, families, and employers across the region.
In addition, Tate is a member of the Grants Committee for the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Fund, which provides funding to nonprofit programs serving children and families. Through this role, he helps ensure local organizations have the resources they need to make a meaningful impact close to home.
“It’s meaningful to be involved with organizations that directly support kids and families in our communities,” Tate shared. “You really see how local support can change lives.”
Beyond his formal roles, Tate is often seen volunteering at nonprofit fundraisers and community events, continually finding ways to give back. He is also committed to growing as a community leader and is currently enrolled in the Leadership Lakes Region Class of 2025–2026.
Tate began his career with MVSB in 2022 as a Commercial Lending Apprentice and has since grown into his current role as Commercial Loan Officer, based out of the Bank’s Laconia office. Through his work at MVSB and his deep community involvement, Tate exemplifies a strong commitment to supporting the Lakes Region and the people who call it home.
