The good news is, Granite Edvance has a tool that can make the process a lot more scientific. They partner with a company called YouScience to provide free career assessments to students of all ages to help them identify what they’re good at and enjoy and learn about careers that fit their strengths. It’s never too late or too early to start saving for college or career training! Try the interactive calculators to better understand the cost of college and how to plan for it. Their College Savings Estimator helps you estimate how much you may want to save for education and suggests how much you should put in a 529 plan each month to meet your goal. Need more motivation? Deadline approaching: Our partner, Granite Edvance is awarding more than $700,000 in scholarships this fall! Their fall scholarship for NH college and trade school students is now open. Scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $3,000 will be awarded to NH residents studying at two-year and four-year colleges and Title IV-eligible trade schools in or out of state. Altogether, they plan to award up to $740,000 in this round of scholarships. The deadline for four-year students is May 6. The deadline for two-year and trade-school students is July 8.
