MVSB is proud to donate $2,500 to the Mount Washington Valley Soccer Club (MWVSC) Scholarship Program, helping ensure local youth have access to soccer opportunities regardless of financial circumstances.
The Club’s Scholarship Fund helps eligible families cover player registration costs, easing financial barriers so more children can experience the personal, athletic and social benefits of youth soccer throughout the Mount Washington Valley.
“Organizations like the Mount Washington Valley Soccer Club provide valuable opportunities for young people to learn, build relationships and stay active,” said Dan Osetek, MVSB Senior Vice President and Senior Commercial Banking Officer. “We’re proud to help make those opportunities available to more local families.”
“The demand for scholarship assistance has continued to grow, and community support plays an important role in meeting that need,” said Scott Laine, Executive Director of the Mount Washington Valley Soccer Club. “MVSB’s donation will help us provide registration assistance to eligible families and make soccer more accessible to local youth.”
MWVSC is a community-based youth soccer organization serving more than 200 players ages 3 to 19 from communities throughout the Mount Washington Valley and surrounding areas. The club offers competitive travel teams, recreational programs and seasonal training opportunities focused on developing confident, resilient and skilled young athletes while strengthening the broader community through sport.
