On Tuesday, March 15th, our Telephone Banking service will be upgraded. During this transition, we do not expect any interruption in telephone banking inquiry and transaction services. The ability to change Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) will be unavailable between 4pm on Monday, March 14th and 10am on Tuesday, March 15th. We have received reports of rising incidents of iScam, a new form of Ransomware impacting Apple iPads and iPhones. With iScam, impacted devices are “held hostage” or “locked” until the ransom is paid. We have received recent reports of a rise in “Government Grant” scams on Facebook where consumers are being tricked into sending money to new or current friends of Facebook in order to collect a large government grant. Time Warner Cable Reports Data Breach
Time Warner Cable (TWC) recently announced that up to 320,000 of their customer email addresses and passwords may have been compromised. TWC believes the information was likely gathered through malware downloaded during phishing attacks or indirectly through data breaches of other companies that store TWC’s customer information.
