As part of our continued efforts to protect customers from the risk and inconvenience associated with card fraud, we will be upgrading our ATM and debit card monitoring system in early June to provide automated fraud alerts by email, text* and phone. The Meredith Village Savings Bank Fund at New Hampshire Charitable Foundation granted $5,000 to the Skatepark of Plymouth, NH, a free recreational resource that is open to youth of all ages. We have received reports of rising incidents of iScam, a new form of Ransomware impacting Apple iPads and iPhones. With iScam, impacted devices are “held hostage” or “locked” until the ransom is paid. Victims of iScam receive a fraudulent pop-up message on their screen when they open the Safari browser on their device.
