Construction Begins on MVSB’s New North Conway Branch Location
Construction on our new banking office at 1498 White Mountain Highway in North Conway has begun. Brian Chalmers to Retire after 34 Years at MVSB
Brian Chalmers, Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer, will retire from MVSB in May after 34 years of dedicated service supporting the Bank, local businesses and the community. Chalmers joined MVSB in 1990 as the Branch Manager for MVSB’s newly opened Meredith Route 104 office, and transitioned to oversee the Ashland office in 1991. He became the Bank’s first Business Development Officer in 1998, where he worked to develop relationships with business owners, municipalities and nonprofits. MVSB to Launch Floating ‘Branch on Boat’ Offices this Summer
We are excited to announce that we will be opening three floating ‘branch on a boat’ offices this summer that will set sail on Lake Winnipesaukee, Conway Lake and in Portsmouth Harbor. Boaters, windsurfers and those who live around the islands can hop on from the water or visit us at one of our many dock stops throughout the day. Outstanding Volunteer Elizabeth Brothers Helps Local Kids through Lakes Region Santa Fund
The volunteers of the Lakes Region Santa Fund and Santa Claus have something in common – they both work to give back to children around the holiday season. But the Santa Fund goes above and beyond what the name would suggest. The Santa Fund is made up of a 12-person all-volunteer board that serves half a dozen communities in the Lakes Region. They provide approximately 500-700 new coats to children in need ages 18 and younger during their distribution events in the winter.
