We are proud to announce that Tate Miller was recently promoted to Commercial Loan Officer. He began his career with MVSB in 2022 as a Commercial Loan Apprentice and has worked alongside several members of the Bank’s commercial lending team to learn key aspects of lending, credit analysis and business networking. The MVSB Fund at New Hampshire Charitable Foundation has awarded $75,000 to 40 local nonprofit organizations. This includes $58,000 donated to 23 local agencies and $17,000 to 17 local food pantries to help address food insufficiency in the Bank’s communities. The grants are in addition to MVSB’s contributions throughout the year in the form of donations, sponsorships, scholarships and volunteer efforts by employees. The Cooperative Alliance for Seacoast Transportation (COAST), a nonprofit public transportation agency that serves the Seacoast region, was awarded tax credits from the Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) to construct a new facility to support increased access to reliable public transportation. We will continue our more than four-decade tradition of collecting donations of new mittens, hats, gloves and scarves for our annual Mitten Tree drive through New Year’s Eve. All donated items will be distributed to local schools and nonprofits. We will also match each item donation with $2 to local organizations addressing childhood food insufficiency.
