Gale School in Belmont to Become Childcare and Community Program Center
We are proud to support Lakes Region Community Developers (LRCD) with the purchase of $10,000 in tax credits through the New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA). The funds will be put towards the Gale School Redevelopment Project at 60 Concord Street in Belmont Village. The Gale School was built in 1894, and was used by the Belmont School District until the mid-1980s when it was vacated. Since then, the empty building has stood vacant and fallen into disrepair. Our lobbies in Laconia and Plymouth Hannaford will also be closing at 5pm. All other offices and drive-ups will be open and closed during normal business hours. As always our night deposit boxes, ATMs, and Online, Mobile and Telephone Banking services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We appreciate your understanding.

MVSB Supports Monarch School of New England’s Horticultural Therapy and Gardening Program
We are proud to support Monarch School of New England (MSNE) in Rochester with a $5,000 donation to the school’s Horticultural Therapy and Gardening Program. The donation will be used to provide plants, seeds, compost bins, tools, and other supplies for the gardens. In their nurturing environment, MSNE uses expertise in creative and occupational therapies, including work, art and activity-based learning to educate children with varying levels of intellectual, physical, medical and behavioral disabilities. The school’s Horticultural Program involves nature-based learning and therapy that occurs in a safe, accessible, and beautiful setting.
