Lakes Region Humane Society (LRHS) has been providing a safe and compassionate shelter for lost, abused or unwanted animals since 1995. Like many local nonprofits, the pandemic has created an increase in need and decrease in funding for the Society. Each year, the Registry Review publishes data collected by The Warren Group outlining the top loan originators for the state of New Hampshire. Five mortgage lenders from Meredith Village Savings Bank were recognized. Sister banks, Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB), Merrimack County Savings Bank (the Merrimack) and Savings Bank of Walpole are the first three banks to contribute to the New Hampshire Nonprofit Response Fund with a combined tax credit purchase of $150,000. Jessica Ruel has been promoted to the new Branch and Business Development Manager of our Laconia location.
