Beginning Saturday, October 30, our branch lobby at 71 NH Route 104 in Meredith will be temporarily closed Saturday mornings, but the drive-up will be open as usual from 8:30am to noon. Established in 1997, under the leadership of John Starrett, then-President and CEO of the Bank, the MVSB Fund at New Hampshire Charitable Foundation makes grant-based contributions to nonprofit organizations that enrich and improve the quality of life for residents living in the Bank’s service areas. We are proud to sponsor New Hampshire Now, a collaborative effort between New Hampshire Historical Society and New Hampshire Society of Photographic Artists portraying current life in New Hampshire through photography. The curated collection will be presented in a limited-edition book, available for purchase beginning Oct. 1, as well as in a series of simultaneous exhibits at locations across the state starting the same date. Gale School in Belmont to Become Childcare and Community Program Center
We are proud to support Lakes Region Community Developers (LRCD) with the purchase of $10,000 in tax credits through the New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA). The funds will be put towards the Gale School Redevelopment Project at 60 Concord Street in Belmont Village. The Gale School was built in 1894, and was used by the Belmont School District until the mid-1980s when it was vacated. Since then, the empty building has stood vacant and fallen into disrepair.
