In this role, MacDonald will continue to oversee the underwriting of commercial loans for MVSB. MacDonald joined the organization in 2005 as a Credit Analyst for Bow Mills Bank and Trust, and joined Merrimack County Savings Bank (the Merrimack) when it acquired Bow Mills in 2007. James (“Jim”) Carrigan has joined Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB) as the Branch and Business Development Manager for the Bank’s newest office in Portsmouth on 2839 Lafayette Road, across from the Beach Plum Restaurant on Route 1. Carrigan will lead the Bank’s expansion efforts in Portsmouth, overseeing the new office, which opens later this summer. Carrigan, who joined MVSB in July, is currently training out of the Bank’s main office in Meredith. He plans to transition to Portsmouth as soon as branch construction completes. Construction is progressing nicely for Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB)’s newest office in Portsmouth, NH located at 2839 Lafayette Road on Route 1, across from the Beach Plum restaurant. The branch, which is expected to open in the coming weeks, will be the MVSB’s second location on the Seacoast and 13th branch overall. The Bank also has a mortgage, business and personal loan office on 95 Lafayette Road in Hampton Falls. Staffing for the new office has been finalized. Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB) is pleased to announce this year’s recipients of the James D. Sutherland Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded annually to one graduating senior each from Gilford, Inter-Lakes, Kingswood, Laconia, Moultonborough, Plymouth Regional and Prospect Mountain High Schools. Genesis Behavioral Health Finances Construction Project with MVSB
With financing help from Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB), Genesis Behavioral Health is consolidating its clinical and administrative offices in Laconia into a single facility on 575 Main Street. The new facility will improve patient care, create efficiencies for sustainability and allow for the expansion of services to best meet the needs of the 24 communities it serves.
